Senior Director, Data Ethics and Privacy by Design

Capital One takes privacy and data ethics seriously. We are establishing a Customer Privacy and Data Ethics business office to set privacy policy for the company, create privacy products for our customers, govern privacy policy across the company and ensure we infuse privacy into everything we build and do. This Customer Privacy and Data Ethics office will be responsible for ensuring we comply with new regulations including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In addition, this office will forge a new normal and strategy for Capital One above and beyond required regulations. Our Data Ethics and Privacy Lead will be responsible for establishing this office and building the team.

The Person

Most of all, you possess the highest ethical standards, accompanied by a balanced ego and unwavering integrity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in Data Ethics, Privacy by Design, or Process Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in People Management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
