Senior Associate, Digital Creative Strategy

Capital One, a Fortune Magazine "100 Best Companies to Work For," is seeking an innovative Senior Associate to develop our creative strategy and learning agenda for Card marketing. This role is responsible for driving creative execution while unifying our brand presence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take your marketing, strategy, data and technical skills to the next level.

  • Develop and unify creative assets, driving the implementation and standardization across Card marketing channels and segments.
  • Partner with creative teams, both internal and external, to build and scale Card marketing presence across acquisition channels.
  • Champion brand presence ensuring that all representations of Card marketing products are in line with their respective brand personas, voice and style guides.
  • Drive creative testing plans
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing managers to improve messaging and design considerations based on test and learn results.
  • Write clear and concise test documents and test plans, driving continued creative optimization across channels and segments.
  • Translate and communicate business intent in a directive manner Creative teams can act on.
  • Provide proper oversight of creative development (with internal creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule.
  • Curiosity and creative thinking to apply deep consumer insights to Card marketing acquisition campaigns.
  • Driven to influence the work to be customer-first.
  • Flexibility and attention to detail, must be able to manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while maintaining excellent work.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience of marketing experience on agency or client-side
  • At least 2 years experience partnering with creative agencies (internal or external)
  • At least 2 years developing creative optimization frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
  • 5 years experience in financial services marketing
  • 5 years experience driving creative strategy and optimization plans.
