Product Manager, Conversational AI Platform

The Conversational AI team is building the platforms and processes that enable intelligent conversational AI experiences across Capital One. We are seeking a qualified candidate with experience in building enterprise platforms, tools or services to lead the strategy and execution of multiple platform capabilities. This person will be part of the team building the best in class Conversational AI platform that powers Eno, Capital One's intelligent assistant. Successful candidates will be comfortable collaborating with end users (including technical internal end users), delving into technical topics with engineers, producing thoughtful analysis, and presenting to a wide range of stakeholders. You will conceptualize, define and deliver platform services to meet evolving business and customer needs, bridging the gap between business and engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Develop products, tools and processes that transform speed to market for releasing new capabilities and functionality to the Conversational AI platform
  • Lead teams building infrastructure and systems that drive platform scale and resilience
  • Define a product vision and technical roadmap based on the business strategy and a robust understanding of internal customer and stakeholder needs
  • Lead product delivery within an agile environment with engineering teams
  • Define team level objective, key results and KPIs
  • Proactively communicate and set proper expectations with stakeholders on the product roadmap and delivery
  • Drive day-to-day prioritization of work and problem solve challenges along the way
  • Manage cross dependencies across teams to ensure alignment and adjust team directions when gaps exist
  • Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities to create value through our platforms - whether it be revenue generation, efficiencies, or increased platform resiliency

What We're Looking For
  • Ability to break down business use cases into product and technology requirements
  • A deep understanding of technical fundamentals of platform technologies and enterprise software development
  • Ability to learn and understand all aspects of the Capital One software delivery ecosystem, spanning from CICD, data governance and API standards
  • Ability to quickly solve problems, establish frameworks, and assess opportunities with hard data and facts
  • A bias to action and a proven track record of building and optimizing a successful digital product
  • Knowledge, passion and practical experience leading engineering teams in emerging technologies
  • Ability to create and implement scalable technical processes across multiple teams
  • Ability to handle the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable presenting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to use sound data and logic to make compelling business cases

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of digital product management experience
  • At least 2 years of Agile product management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 1+ year experience working with platform technologies
  • 1+ year experience at a leading financial services or technology company
  • 2+ years of experience in building enterprise platforms
