Digital Product Manager, Business Development & Retail Innovation

Job Description

Capital One's Digital organization is seeking a forward-thinking Product Manager to drive New Product Development activities for its Partnerships business. You will have an important and visible role on a team tasked with incubating new digital products and experiences for Capital One's Co-brand and Private Label Credit Card partners like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Kohl's, Sony, and GM.

You will be responsible for developing strategies to bring emerging technologies to our retail cardholders, while leveraging customer-centered insights to concept and launch new digital products. You will also have a leading role in helping Capital One to win new card partners and deepen relationships with existing ones.

Here's what you'll do in this role:

  • Shape Capital One's digital agenda for our retail and entertainment partners by seeking out opportunities to innovate across the entire customer journey.
  • Get your hands dirty by talking with customers, turning ideas into rapid prototypes, and selling new products into the business.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, data scientists, and others to bring your ideas to life
  • Own these new digital products and take them from conception through execution
  • Present to internal and external stakeholders at an executive level
  • Craft digital strategies that differentiate Capital One's pitches to prospective partners.
  • Be a champion of human-centered design

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, client management, corporate innovation, or design strategy

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 2-4 years of experience in Agile product management
