The International and Small Business Legal Team is seeking and Operations and Administrative Coordinator. The International and Small Business Legal team is made up of legal professionals in the U.K., Canada and the U.S. who support our consumer credit card businesses in the U.K. and Canada and our Small Business Credit Card and Small Business Bank businesses in the U.S. These businesses move fast, are technologically savvy and are relentlessly focused on bringing game-changing product and experiences to our customers. It takes a talented, diverse group of legal professionals with a variety of skills to help them win for customers, and we need to keep all those people aligned, connected, and excited about our work. That's where you come in - providing Operational and Administrative support to the team.

You will report to the Chief Counsel for International and Small Business and will be integral to the management of the team. You will have a wide range of responsibilities, including administrative, logistics, communications, operations, and strategy.

How you will help us succeed:
-Strategize, develop and lead team projects and communications and coordinate team operations.
-Partner with Legal Department management and communications teams to coordinate events, communications, initiatives and projects.
-Make sure that the attorneys you work with use their time wisely by managing their calendars through strategic assessment of meeting invites, creating dedicated work blocks, and using your judgment to resolve conflicts.
-Set meetings up for success by ensuring the right people and tools - technology, sustenance, and/or brainstorming supplies - are in place to accomplish the task at hand. 10am
-Connect our team across three countries and multiple locations, planning meetings and travel to make the most of live interactions where possible and using collaboration tools when travel isn't possible/appropriate.
-Coordinate travel for the lawyers you work with, making sure the expenses are processed in a timely manner.
-Support ad hoc projects as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
-At least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant OR At least 2 years of experience in Project Management OR At least 2 years of experience in Office Management Operations

Preferred Qualifications:
-Associates Degree
-5 years of experience in Administrative experience or Project Management or Operations
-Exceptional written communication skills and event planning skills
-Strong comprehension of business strategy and objectives
-Motivated problem-solver with a strong drive for reaching desired outcomes
-Growth mindset/passion for learning and continuous improvement
