Portfolio Admin, Principal Coord

Summary:

The Portfolio Administrator position supports the Portfolio Management process by actively collecting financial statements and assisting in the Annual Review and Interim Assessment processes for Small Business Banking customers with up to $5MM in aggregate exposure. The position works closely with customers, field personnel, and other operational sections of the bank to produce efficient and accurate service and maintenance of the Small Business loan portfolio.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contacting customers by approved methods (phone, email, mail, fax) in accordance to customer service standards
  • Collecting and directing the flow of financial reporting and loan requirements for Annual Reviews and Interim Assessments
  • Contributing to the portfolio review process by obtaining appropriate documentation and keeping credit files up to date
  • Initiating amendments for loan modifications and extensions
  • Monitoring reporting to ensure timely collection of requirements and completion of credit action in order to minimize financial reporting delinquencies
  • Maintaining the document tracking program with up to date financial information and ensuring that accurate notifications are sent to the customers.
  • Ensuring that the Annual Review/Interim Assessment package (including all supporting information and documentation) is complete
  • Working knowledge of Capital One credit policy, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitating renewal processes for ACH's
  • Additional assignments may include special projects and various administrative duties

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Banking experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Finance, or Accounting
