Capital One is seeking an RPA Engineer to build extremely elegant and scalable solutions to deliver game changing user experiences and insights across both internal and external customer touch points.

As an RPA Engineer, you will work initially on modernizing, automating and refining legacy processes, later moving to apply your skills to larger scale Cloud-based automations.

Your areas of responsibility will range from Robotic Process automation (RPA), AWS, message queues such as Kafka, J2EE, Postgres and micro service architecture.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience building applications using J2EE
  • At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying applications on Cloud using either AWS or Azure
  • At least 1 year of experience using CI/CD pipelines
  • At least 1 year of experience in an Agile environment


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any experience building Bots using RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath, etc
  • Understanding of Test Driven Development concepts and supportive tools like Cucumber
  • 3+ years' experience designing, developing, and implementing API
  • Experience which scripting languages like Shell and Python
  • Familiarity with Configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
  • Familiarity with Application Container concepts using tools like Docker
  • Certified developer: Java, Spring or AWS technologies
