Manager, Technical Products - Enterprise Security Solutions

The Manager, Technical Products (MTP) is focused on selection, design, installation and maintenance of all physical security systems, applications and devices. The MTP serves on cross functional teams and is considered the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all facets of Integrated Security Technology. The MTP will coordinate security design and performance requirements for Capital One assets using information gathered from end users and Capital One IT security requirements and standards. The MTP will provide advice and research on emerging security technology solutions that enhance Capital One existing security systems, infrastructure and investments.
The MTP will evaluate and test new technologies, promote innovation, research and development of new security systems that will add value to the business.

The successful candidate must possess a comprehensive and a broad-based knowledge of the integration of access control, CCTV, intrusion, Intercom/Telephony Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Serves as the technical subject matter expert providing technical input regarding new or retrofit systems, suggest technical alternatives or improvements to existing technology platforms.
• Design and implement security technology systems for a large and complex enterprise through state of the art technology integration.
• Provides support services for a comprehensive technical security program designed to protect Capital One facilities, employees and assets.
• Analyze and define system functional, technical and architectural requirements.
• Provide clear and concise reports developed to identify cost effective security solutions using common off the shelf solutions (COTS) that could be used to enhance, and support the Capital One technical security program and protection strategies.
• Provide research services and advising office personnel on national and international developments in commercial, state-of-the-art, security technology through briefings and education materials.
• Review and make recommendations for technical security upgrade designs based on counter-threat plans, physical security and technical security policies.
• Works closely with multiple security integrators to provide value and efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• At Least 5 years' experience in integrated security systems design, installation, and management, as well as equipment lifecycle planning and budgeting
• At least 5 years' experience with and technical in security system design including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and advanced security applications such as biometrics, ip intercom systems, video analytics and visitor management
• At least 5 years' of experience in database management underlying integrated security systems.
• At least 5 years' experience in writing design specifications and standards, technical manuals and procedures, and developing and delivering training programs.
• At least 5 years' experience in Lenel Access Control Systems
• Certification in Lenel Access Control Systems
• • At least 3 years' experience in Experience in central station alarm monitoring software platforms
• • At least 3 years' experience in Experience in converting, optimizing access control systems in enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in IT Systems Management, Systems Engineering & Design, or related field
• At least 10 years' experience in integrated security systems design, installation, and management, as well as equipment lifecycle planning and budgeting
• Experience in relationship management, multiunit management
• At least 10 years Industry experience in banking or financial services.
• At Least 10 years' of database management underlying integrated security systems.
• At least 10 years' experience in writing design specifications and standards, technical manuals and procedures, and developing and delivering training programs
• Advanced Certification in Lenel Access Control - Lenel Certified Expert (LCE), Lenel Certified Design Architect (LCDA)
