Linguist (Senior Associate, Process Management)

Description:

Enterprise Language Assurance (ELA) department is a horizontal function under Capital One Credit Card Operations responsible for servicing linguistic needs across the corporation. It supports multiple channels of communication and customer points of contact by working with partners across the company's diversified lines of business. The associate is a core member of the team responsible for a wide-range of functions, as well as implementing changes to new and/or existing processes or procedures. This position involves teamwork, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality delivery through management of governance
  • Provide front line expertise for project delivery support
  • Drive a consistent application of process and tools for delivery
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements
  • Utilize analytics and reporting to provide updates and operational transparency to team and Decision Makers
  • Co-Manage resource allocation and oversight for the ELA capacity utilization
  • Meet with key stakeholders or performers required to complete incoming requests
  • Establish metrics and reporting around the processes. Create, document, and distribute reports to stakeholder.
  • Communicate in a timely consistent manner to update the client community on best practices, process changes, and upcoming events.
  • Provide some vendor and Third Party Support


Basic Qualifications:
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year experience in Process Management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • - Business Process Management Certificate
  • 2 years experience in Process Management
  • 1 year experience in Legal, Banking and Business
