Leveraged Credit & Subscription Finance - Senior Relationship Manager

Capital One's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) has an immediate need for a Relationship Manager to join our growing Leveraged Credit & Subscription Finance team. The individual will be responsible for relationship management, including originations and business development. The successful candidate will be a key member of the group's business, help manage existing relationships, develop new relationships, and provide advice and various products and services to the groups customers. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, who welcomes the challenge of joining a growing and dynamic industry-focused banking group with phenomenal growth potential. The individual should be comfortable working both independently and with a team, and will possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. They will work closely with members of the broader FIG organization to and be comfortable working with a broad group of cross-functional teams that support the business in various ways,

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: opportunities to focus on other consumer asset classes

  • Work with Leadership team to develop aforementioned opportunity and growth areas
  • Nurture and expand strong internal/external relationships, both new and existing
  • Work both independently and with small team to advise companies on best options for their needs, including lending, capital markets and other services
  • Manage the origination, execution, structuring, diligence, and monitoring of financing activities
  • Manage investment pipeline to achieve growth
  • Work with Leadership to set appropriate goals for team and continually driving for improved results

Basic Qualifications:
  • Either a Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of Relationship Management Experience
  • At least 10 years of Lender Finance experience or at least 10 years of Financial Institutions Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree and/or CFA
  • Asset Backed Securitization (ABS) experience a plus
  • Experience with a broad range of asset classes
  • Demonstrated superior leadership with ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Capability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong Capital Markets knowledge
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong industry relationships
  • Strong Credit training and experience
  • Strong partnership and teamworking orientation
