Director-Capital Markets

Responsibilities include for Director:

  • Drive financial strategy projects identified by the office of the CFO and leaders within Treasury and Balance Sheet Management
  • Contribute to the execution of the Firm's top financial priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Incorporate knowledge of competitor best practices into proposals and recommendation
  • Create financial models on profitability and balance sheet and perform to deliver deep insights
  • Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and news articles with the broader team and executives
  • Coordinate interactions with our deposits LOBs across strategic initiatives, FTP and modeling
  • Lead the FTP methodologies for deposits in coordination with the modeling teams
  • Develop and present communication materials to senior leaders
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility


Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong conceptual and analytical aptitude with the ability to provide insightful solutions for complex business problems
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of finance, banking industry, treasury, capital, deposits and FTP
  • Can effectively prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent people management skills and experience
  • Mastery of Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and ideally Python


Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree or military experience

-At least 8 years of experience in Banking or Bank Consulting

-At least 3 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Financial Engineering

-Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree of Finance or Financial Engineering

-At least 8 years of experience in Banking and Treasury

-At least 5 years of working knowledge of bank balance sheet management concepts including profitability, capital, interest rate risk, funding, liquidity, FTP

-At least 5 years of working knowledge of banking regulatory environment

-Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or FRM

-At least 2 years of experience in Fixed income and deposits modeling

-At least 2 years of experience in valuation

-At least 3 years of people management experience

-Deep knowledge of banking industry and strong communication skills
