Director, Small Business Card Digital Storefront

The Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop future leaders within your direct team of marketing analysts and product managers
  • Significantly advance our understanding of business owner shopping and product selection processes through primary research and in market testing
  • Re-architect our acquisitions digital experience inclusive of our web shopping experience, digital product display case, and application experience in order to:
    • Drive throughput and conversion in a well managed way consistent with a well regulated industry
    • Apply behavioral economic principles in our product presentation to optimize selection and interactions within our product suite.
    • Apply first party and third-party data to customize experiences for first time and repeat visitor
    • Deeply understand the financial performance and credit worthiness of the populations we attract in our marketing funnel
    • Enable continuous testing within our storefront
  • Partner with the leaders of the marketing team to deliver our brand through a compelling, consistent and resonate experience across our small business touchpoints.
  • Educate the Small Business director + leadership team on the role of marketing and the possibilities created by the intersection of data and marketing strategy, particularly in a digital context
  • Cultivating an agile and results-driven culture in which innovation and excellence are expected
  • Partner closely with US, Canadian, and UK leaders across our bank and card segments to promote joint technology solutions and share learnings

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years experience in analytics-based decision making and problem solving, including valuations and modeling experience.
  • At least 7 years experience in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs
  • At least 7 years experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • At least 5 years experience in digital marketing
  • At least 3 years experience evaluating and integrating marketing technology

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • 5+ years of B2B experience in product, sales, or marketing
  • 5+ years of direct P&L management
  • 3+ years operating in an Agile environment
