Director, Product Management - Site Platform

Capital One is seeking a talented leader to drive the transformation of its marketing technology and data ecosystem for the Card business. We need someone who is excited about reimagining the future of consumer marketing, establishing technology and data driven marketing leadership and bringing that to life within Capital One. This person will lead our efforts to build the next generation credit card website, enabling continuous testing and optimization at scale, and unlocking hundreds of millions of dollars of value through increased conversion.

The Credit Card Acquisitions Website ('The Site') is the front door for consumers to Capital One's largest line of business. It originates millions of new customers each year, converting visitors from Search, Social, Aggregators, and other lead generating channels. The Director of the Card Website Platform holds a foundational role in driving Capital One's growth by building the capabilities that enable us to deliver a world-class experience to every person who visits the website.

This product and technology leader will lead a team of direct and cross-functional resources across multiple business, product, and engineering teams. This is a critical and highly visible role requiring significant stakeholder influence and relationship management both internally (US Card Senior Leadership Team, US Card Segment Leaders, Marketing and Technology Senior Leaders and other functional experts) and externally (Strategic Partners, Vendors, and leading marketing and technology companies).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effort to design, build and deploy the credit card acquisitions website platform for U.S. Card and champion with internal and external stakeholders
  • Enable amazing customer experiences across internal and external marketing channels to drive transformational results around site performance, test velocity, experimentation and experience optimization
  • Recruit, lead, develop and inspire a large cross functional team of analysts, product managers, engineers, data scientists and data engineers around this effort

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital product management
  • At least 5 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 5-7 years of experience in Agile product management
