Director, Healthcare Services-Alternate Site Analyst - Investment Research Group

As a Healthcare Services-Alternate Site Analyst, you will report to the Investment Research Group (IRG) team leader and aid in the identification, development, and execution of corporate finance and capital markets transactions in the Alt Site space (including cash flow financing and asset-based lending).

Your responsibilities include:

  • Actively identify research and profile prospects in the Alt Site sector
  • Prepare various analyses for prospect identification, due diligence and credit committees
  • Develop and maintain industry driver and valuation models for various subsectors
  • Support deal screening, due diligence, and internal credit approval processes, including development of investment theses and underwriting assumptions
  • Assist in evaluating risk/return dynamics for proposed transactions
  • Support IRG efforts in other forums, including, but not limited to portfolio reviews
  • Provide support to Capital Markets through interactions with institutional investors
  • Contribute to all aspects of idea generation efforts, including industry analyses, discussion of opportunities within spaces and identification of potential targets
  • Responsibilities commensurate with experience; long-term opportunity to increase exposure
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 7 years' of experience in equity research or at least 7 years' of experience in investment banking or at least 7 years' of experience in private equity or at least 7 years' of experience in venture capital


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years' of specific Healthcare Services finance experience in the alt site sector or alt-site operational experience
  • Proficient experience in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience presenting to clients and senior management effectively interacting at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working cross-functionally and within a team environment
  • Financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Execution oriented and self-motivator
