Digital Process Manager – Digital Messaging

The Capital One Digital Messaging team is looking for a Digital Process Manager to support the creation and refinement of new and existing products. This role partners closely with other technology teams, third-party vendors, and business lines to identify new opportunities to enhance customer experience, define intent, and ensure the successful launch of new messaging products to our customers.

We're seeking a dedicated, disciplined professional who excels in a team environment, can communicate effectively, and influence partners across multiple levels of the organization. HTML coding, knowledge of API's, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role.

  • Prior experience with working in a web or digital role is required, with knowledge/experience with API's, design and coding.
  • Passion for delivering meaningful products and experiences in a digital world.
  • Experience in IT development environments with strong knowledge of agile processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to tailor messages to multiple audiences at different levels.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects, including demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems quickly, assess opportunities and implement changes to enhance experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, combined with ability to see and explain the big picture
  • Proven digital experience is required, including experience writing business cases, defining acceptance criteria, developing project plans, and estimating work effort

This is what you'll do:

  • Participate in new product build/launch by helping the digital product owners define and articulate the business and user needs and product vision
  • Elicit and develop requirements using a variety of techniques, including facilitating working sessions with business partners, business analysis and online research
  • Assists product owners in developing user acceptance criteria for business and operational partners
  • Identify gaps in stories and requirements between what is in place and what is needed
  • Work with product, tech and ops teams to ensure coherence between product development, delivery and integration into existing processes
  • Assist with any training for operational readiness for new product launches
  • Identify, resolve and communicate changes or impacts to up or downstream process
  • Ensure products meet business, tech and operational expectations
  • Facilitate the creation, review, and sign off of project deliverables.
  • Provide support for escalations and problem resolution for customers
  • Assist tech teams with issues needing cross platform knowledge

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Digital Project or Digital Process or Digital Product management
  • At least 2 years of experience with HTML, JSP, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • At least 2 years of experience working within an agile environment and with tech teams
  • At least 2 years of experience working with system integrations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience building email campaigns, A/B testing and analyzing campaign performance
