Customer Authentication Assessor

Cyber Assurance is seeking a Customer Authentication Assessor to be a subject matter expert within the Cybersecurity Assurance Customer Authentication team, providing authentication and layered security control consulting to the enterprise based on the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) and internal Cybersecurity controls. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with excellent cyber best-practices, process management, and communication skills. The candidate will be detail-oriented and results focused, and will have a proven record of managing high profile projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments across the enterprise based on FFIEC & internal Cybersecurity controls
  • Develop lasting partnerships with various enterprise teams, to include collaborating on developing compliance-by-design strategies while balancing risk, business objectives and business impact
  • Stay current on emerging cyber threats and potential implications to the firm
  • Promote awareness of Customer Authentication requirements and security best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve objectives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience managing, or consulting, or auditing, or working in the fields of information security, or technology, or risk management
  • At least 3 years in an IT security or compliance consulting role
  • At least 2 years of experience with technical IT controls
  • At least 2 years of experience communicating with technologists and all levels of management
  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with regulators or internal auditors with regulatory requirements


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISA certification
  • CISSP certification
  • CRISC certification
  • 1+ years experience working in the financial services industry
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing GRC solutions
  • 1+ years of experience working with FFIEC
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud-based environments
