Job Description

Commercial Loan Servicing is part of the Commercial and Small Business Banking Servicing organization and a part of Capital One's Banking Operations Division. This global leader is critical to the success of the Commercial strategy as the organization ensures accurate and timely execution of all requested and approved transactions for Capital One's 32 Bank's portfolio. These transactions are complex in nature, and involve external bank clients; therefore, these transactions must be executed with the care and sensitivity expected of such a value asset.

The ideal candidate will be a part of the team responsible for Investor Reporting/Remitting to the various Government Sponsored Enterprises (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae/FHA). This involves processes and procedures that must be adhered to in order to ensure timely and error free submissions. This person will be expected to work closely with internal and Agency partners to address inquiries and meet reporting requirements per Seller/Servicer standards for each Government Enterprise. This person must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively via written and verbal communication. The position requires a person who thinks outside of the box and is able to communicate feedback to varying levels of leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent shifts in focus.   • Administer and examine daily loan monitoring and reporting requirements of Commercial Loan Servicing.
  • Guarantee service levels are met and exceeded in terms of timeliness, quality and customer service.
  • Remain current on all pending and proposed regulatory changes affecting compliance and attend assigned training covering regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Provide loan activity reporting to Agencies ensuring accurate reconciliation of all applicable fees and loan payments.
  • Work well in a team in order to achieve team goals.
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions to meet customer expectations.
  • Analyze work for consistency.
  • Prioritize workload effectively.
  • See project work through to completion with minimal guidance from management.
  • Meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Incorporate Capital One's values into daily tasks and assignments.
  • Communicate with commercial loan system vendors(s) as necessary regarding system issues, reports and modifications/enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Military Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of commercial banking experience
  • Experience with Google G-Suite
  • Experience with SQL
