Associate Risk Specialist (Small Business Card)


Execute critical audit and exam support functions, including:

  • Help define, document and execute line of business IBM OpenPages GRC Platform
  • Act as Issue Manager for audit and exam outcomes which are assigned to Compliance as owner or co-owner
  • Monitor the status of issues which are not owned by Compliance, but which reflect Compliance exposure, to ensure they are resolved accurately and timely
  • Act as the primary point of contact and process subject matter expert for stakeholders, by managing the transition of audit engagements from the active assessment stage through the corrective action, audit validation and closure stages
  • Effectively and efficiently manage a large volume of issues, ensuring timely action on required tasks, including maintaining accurate information and status in IBM OpenPages GRC Platform
  • Maintain issue tracking records to support reporting inputs to periodic Compliance reports
  • Influence diverse resources to ensure remediation commitments are met and to adopt best practices in issue management
  • Provide effective challenge for proposed action items, remediation evidence, and validation content to ensure high quality in work products
  • Maintain the teams schedule of audit and exam engagements; validate content with Corporate Audit Services and Regulatory Relations
  • Maintain the teams document archives, including support for platform migration
  • Support activities to comply with information retention policies
  • Monitor data quality, and follow up on potential concerns
  • Identify, research, solve and/or respond to requests inquiries and problem situationsin a timely manner

  • At least 2 years of experience in at least one of the following: Compliance Management, Risk Management, Process Management or Project Management

  • Experience in Compliance Management, Risk Management, Process Management or Project Management
  • Advanced knowledge of the IBM OpenPages GRC Platform
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google G Suite
