Agile Delivery Lead (ADL)

Capital One is looking for an innovative leader who is eager to collaborate with the team, dissect new technologies and enhance our internal IT. In the ADL role, you'll be the servant leader for your team by ensuring clear communication and managing the team to reach its goal. The ADL will drive the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/etc.) through quality delivery and continuous improvement of the team. The ADL will facilitate productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals. The ideal candidate is driven, ambitious and has experience working in an Agile environment supporting IT projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Optimize delivery flow and continuous improvement
  • Encourage innovation
  • Mentor team members on agile roles and best practices
  • Provide Scrum, Agile, and tools training
  • Facilitate conflict resolution by leading "crucial conversations"
  • Confront all behavior that prevents the team from improving
  • Enable a culture where agile delivery can thrive
  • Shield the team from external distractions
  • Remove obstacles and impediments
  • Define and gather meaningful program/process metrics
  • Lead change through lean/agile coaching


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 Years of Agile experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • SAFe certified or experience with scaled Agile frameworks
  • AWS certification
  • Cloud experience
  • Mobile application experience
