Sales Coordinator, Europe

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Directors of Sales, Europe & Asia, the Sales Coordinator acts as the cross departmental liaison between Canada Goose's European HQ, the European Sales Team, and the Global Head Office. The Sales Coordinator, Europe & Asia is responsible for communication and analysis surrounding the order book, all special projects that may arise, as well as providing daily administrative support to the Sales Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, promote, and exercise a regular flow of communication and information throughout the International Sales network
  • Liaison with European Retailer Specialist Team Lead; co-ordinate daily activities to maximize team efficiencies
  • Assist as necessary with Sales Forecast Planning
  • Oversee the Expense Tracking of the European Sales Team
  • Working closely with European Retailer Specialist Team Lead on preparing all relevant sales reports
  • Work cross departmentally to identify and solve issues, such as order fulfillment/bulk shipments and grey market
  • Support Directors of Sales to prepare and run regular divisional meetings, including follow-up
  • Provide Administrative support for the International Sales Leaders
  • Preparation and support of internal meetings for Senior Management
  • Assist with the financial analysis and management of the International Sales Department Budget
  • Attend tradeshows as required

Experience, Education and Designations:

  • University Degree
  • International sales experience is an asset
  • Fluency in English a requirement and in various languages is an asset
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry and/or apparel industry preferred
  • Ability to effectively present to groups and interact with senior management

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain the privacy of confidential information
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the European retail landscape
  • Analytical skills combined with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and know when to seek guidance
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work in a structured manner on strict deadlines and handle pressure
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Sense of humour is a must
  • Must enjoy being a part of a team environment
