Digital Analytics Specialist

Position Overview:

Along with the expansion of Canada Goose's digital ecommerce channels, we are looking for an analytics specialist to join our growing team. The position will lead the management of our digital tags and support various stakeholders with the ultimate goal of driving data-driven thinking and consultative approach to insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and Configuration of Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Help manage projects from implementation of tags to deployment with the development teams
  • Monitor deployment of tags and provide data quality assurance
  • Maintain and upgrade properties under Google Analytics tracking via managing filters, integration of other Google products (Adwords, DCM, Search Console, BigQuerY)
  • Support SEO integrations and marketing attribution model developments
  • Reporting and Adhoc Analysis
  • Maintain reporting deliverables to stakeholders via adhoc and automated reports from multiple data sources: Google Analytics (eCommerce Sales & Visitor Behaviour), DemandWare (OMS), BazaarVoice (Customer Ratings & Reviews), ConfirmIT (Voice of Customer), Riskified (Fraud Detection)
  • Perform behaviour and checkout funnel analyses, investigate/evaluate relevant KPIs and offer insights with context from various parties (eCommerce, Marketing, Planning, Strategy, etc.)

Experience, Education and Designations:

  • Bachelor or Diploma Education in Business/Computer Science/Math or relevant experience
  • 2-4 years' experience with Google Analytics
  • 2 years' experience implementing tracking tags and working with developers
  • 2 years' experience using Google Tag Manager
  • 1 year experience using SQL or logic queries (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Google Sheets (automation of Google Analytics data in Google Sheets)
  • Experience with visualization software (Google Data Studio, PpowerBI, Tableau, or Microstrategy)
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing (SEM, Display, SEO, social analytics)
  • Beginner to intermediary level in statistics (T-Test, Z-test, ANOVA, Linear regression, Chi-square test)
  • Experience with Google Big Query; considered an asset
  • Experience in eCommerce; considered an asset

  • Ability to translate data into information via various communication techniques
  • Problem solver and willingness to take on challenges in unfamiliar territories
  • Neutral/unbiased view of data and objectively offer guidance with context
  • Attention to detail and time/priority management

Working Conditions:

  • Limited Travel
