Strategic Account Director

JOB SUMMARY:

The Strategic Account Director will have overall responsibility for deploying the principles of strategic account management to establish trusted advisor relationships against Caesars Entertainment's most valuable accounts. The Strategic Account Director represents all of the Caesars Entertainment portfolio of hotels across the US for both regional and vertical accounts. The position will use strategic account management practices to uncover business objectives to help our key accounts achieve the desired business outcomes. The position will manage and be part of executive relationships from Director to C level.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Owner of strategic relationship at all levels within selected accounts

Penetrate deeper, higher and wider across the account's enterprises

Establish trusted advisor relationships with key customer executives

Provide solutions for accounts' overall objectives, pressures and challenges

Serve as the advocate and voice of the customer across Caesars Entertainment's enterprise

Become a subject matter expert on the selected accounts and their industry

Understand customer's organizational priorities

Uncover customer solutions to help achieve Caesars Entertainment's objectives

Create executive engagement across all levels and business units of the account and Caesars Entertainment

Improve collaboration and alignment to foster open communication

Gain greater insight and increased knowledge of the accounts

Produce market share and revenue increases

Joint solution development and value co-creation

Develop strategic account plans and conduct annual business reviews with assigned top accounts

Lead, without authority, cross-functional teams to build relationships and manage the needs of the customer

Lead collaborative projects

Participate in and initiate discussions between executives at both companies

Conduct account reviews to identify opportunities for mutual growth.

Gain in depth knowledge of all Caesars Entertainment properties

Provide in market sales manager with an additional layer of customer feedback and support in order to increase closure rate

Communicate effectively with In Market sales teams, Property sales teams, marketing, property operators and customers, and act as a mentor in Strategic Account Management for the sales team

Engage Caesars Entertainment executives and gain buy in, when needed

Effectively evaluate time and resources spent with an account against return on investment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

4 year college degree

8 years strategic sales experience

4-5 years of Strategic Account Management program experience preferred

Previous experience working remote

Qualifications:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Fast-paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and efficiency. Must be able to complete several tasks at once, with accuracy. Must be able to travel, and work nights & weekends as necessary. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Light packing (up to 10 pounds) may be required.
