Race & Sportsbook Administrative Assistant (CES)
Responsible for the monitoring of all wagering point spreads / money lines associated with all transactions. Distribute all associated sports and racing informational materials (odds sheets, parlay cards, daily racing forms, pens, pencils, etc.) to the guests and/or designated areas. Originate all regulatory paper work related to Regulation 6-A and Title 31 as well as Multiple Transaction Log (MTL), Exceptions Reports, Racing Form Collections, etc. and associated documentation used in the daily operation of a race and sports book. Responsible for confirming the accountability of monies/chips submitted by writers upon the closing of cash drawers. Possess excellent guest service and communication skills. Working knowledge of Title 31/AML required, general knowledge of sports leagues. Previous cash handling experience required. Must have and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Must have proficient computer skills and have a minimum of one year of Race and Sports supervisory experience. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts in a fast paced environment. Directs, supervises and observes Race & Sports Book Writers on assigned shift for adherence to department, company and regulatory agencies' policies and procedures. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
