Role Description:

The Product Owner is a key strategic role to ensure our platform success and client satisfaction by driving our product roadmap and offerings for Maestro, the Salesforce Platform at Caesars. The Product Owner will have a deep understanding of Caesars' various lines of business and the needs of the team members providing experiences to our guests. In addition, the Product Owner will have the ability to articulate that knowledge into a vision and strategy to create and communicate the product roadmap and drive the product lifecycle.
As a Product Owner, you are highly engaged with all areas of the business and work closely with IT on the delivery, operations and enablement to deliver world-class offerings that support the Caesars mission and deliver ROI. The Product Owner will be customer driven and constantly seek input from across the business and our customers.

Vision and Strategy: Setting the vision, strategy and business model for the product line at an enterprise level. Doing so by developing a network of senior-level business sponsors within Caesars to deeply understand the business needs of our enterprise-wide user base in each functional area. This role will necessitate an understanding of the market, competition, guests and current company capabilities and be responsible for defining the unique value proposition for the product the team in service of each stakeholder line of business.

Goals and Initiatives: Setting specific goals for the product and defining initiatives to drive those goals. Leading the definition of specific success criteria/ metrics or Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the product to achieve those goals and specific targets that the product should achieve.

Product Roadmap: Defining and maintaining the product roadmap, that maps out a timeline of these initiatives. Communicates the product vision to all stakeholders including VPs and SMT.

Features: For each initiative, coaching the team on identifying features/ user stories. These come from internal team members, customer support, internal IT and other teams and various other parts of the organization.

Prioritization and Release Roadmap : Working with a team to prioritize various features and making decisions on which ones to go after first and which ones can go into a product backlog. Setting up a practice that understands how to prioritize by taking into account areas such as value add, risk, complexity of implementation etc.

Requirements: For the features that are going out, facilitating the refinement of each feature into detailed requirements i.e. Defining the capability of what the product should do to meet the business need of the feature.

Feature and Requirements Design: Working with designers, user experience, engineering, QA and others to come up with solutions to those requirements and hence features.

Implementation : Working with IT teams, architects, QA, technical analysts and others to ensure on a day to day basis that those features are being built and are ready to go out to our internal customers.

Team Design: Properly designing the team for success and setting up the structure that will facilitate team effectiveness. Setting a compelling direction and purpose for the team, and also ensuring that the right talent is in place. Defining team structures such as roles and responsibilities, and collaboratively identifying working agreements that allows the team to deliver on their purpose and goals.

• BA/BS degree is required, MBA preferred
• 8+ years product management experience for professional services, enterprise applications and/or integrated solutions
• Has and maintains a good understanding of Salesforce functionality and product knowledge across multiple clouds
• Possess a broad operating range, from strategic planning to tactical details
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Previous experience in a product, engineering, project management or services role in a SaaS company
