Manager of Property Analytics
Industry leading analytics has always been a core competency of Caesars Entertainment. A Qualified candidate will be a seasoned professional in financial planning and analysis, equipped with a broad-based knowledge of the gaming industry, including finance, labor, revenue management, marketing, hotel and F&B operations in addition to other critical business areas. The candidate should be capable of delivering executive-level analytical support to both property and corporate senior leaders, anticipating stakeholders’ needs and proactively providing support and solutions. To be successful in this position, the individual will need sharp business instincts, the ability to identify potential opportunities to improve operational performance and increase company profits as well as leverage the resources of Caesars’ Central Enterprise Analytics Team.
The Property Analytics Leader will be responsible for the following:
1) Acting as the ‘on-property’ analytics leader for multiple properties
2) Managing day to day analytical needs at the properties – ensuring responsiveness and managing key property relationships. Serving as the liaison between the properties and the shared services organization and vice versa. The on-property personnel will be the first and primary point of contact for property executives, property departmental leaders as well as the centralized analytics team as they interface with one another.
3) Being a Strategic Partner to the properties by i) attending, influencing and creating professional documents for operating reviews; ii) ensuring property / local market expertise is built into centralized analysis; iii) leveraging the strength and knowledge of the centralized analytics team to develop well thought out and high quality analytical products; iv) creating, shaping and influencing property strategic planning and budgets; (v) partnering with the property senior management teams to develop and implement initiatives to continuously drive operating and financial performance.
4) Developing, and mentoring analysts on the centralized team by engaging them in property specific projects.
Managing Enterprise Analytics relationships with senior executives and property departmental leaders
Property analytics support – responsibilities to include but not exclusive to:
Regular operations reviews and senior-level presentations
Perform ad-hoc analysis and ROI analysis for all capital projects
Ensure that the analyses are thoughtful, insightful, and actionable
Effectively present findings and recommendations to the property management team
Help property leaders leverage analytical tools & reports – serve as a translator / interpreter to property leadership
Assist operators with strategic thinking that can help generate financial returns for the company
Hold property operators responsible for agreed upon, measurable objectives
Being a liaison between the centralized Enterprise Analytics Team and property leadership:
Integrate property input into reports and analyses produced by the central team
Leverage centralized analytics team for functional specific analysis, lead and manage cross-functional projects, and ensure that the analyses are thoughtful, insightful, and actionable
Hold the centralized team accountable for analyses due to the properties
Annual budgeting, strategic planning, and regular reforecasting:
Regularly forecasting short-term and long-term property performance
Taking the lead in properties’ annual budget and strategic planning processes
BA/BS degree, with strong analytics, finance, and entry level management experience
Proven problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing demands for resources
Strong executive-level communications skills
5+ years of related professional work experience
