General Summary:

The Food & Beverage Culinary Internship is a unique learning experience with exposure to some of the various aspects of the Culinary Industry within Caesars Entertainment. This Internship will provide hands on experience, exposure to culinary management, and opportunities to showcase your skills to the biggest names in the industry today.

Candidates will learn important skills on managing in an array of kitchens types such as fine dining, quick service, and casual dining in a high volume environment while ensuring consistency standards.

Candidates will be challenged to learn Caesars Entertainment culinary standards and while applying classroom taught skillsets. Candidates will also be tasked to learn the logistics behind operating a kitchen such as ordering, inventory, menu creation, product development, and menu tastings. Candidates will also be challenged with a special project that would be presented to executives and senior leaders as part of the final grade.

Requirements:

  • Students must be currently enrolled or graduated from an accredited Culinary University/School
  • Previous management experience highly preferred
  • Complete flexibility with schedule
  • Must obtain required work cards relevant to the position (ie. Clark County Health Card)
  • Willingness to work in any assigned department and on any projects
  • Willingness to relocate to Las Vegas during the Internship Program
  • Must show commitment and dedication to Caesars Entertainment and the Internship Program
  • Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug test, and background check, etc.

Working Conditions:

Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner. Must be willing to stand for prolonged periods of time while working in an environment that can reach extreme temperatures.
