Enterprise Operational Finance Specialist/Analyst
The role of the Enterprise Operational Finance Specialist is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting vendor data. The EOF Specialist supports the initiatives of the Enterprise Operational Finance department. The EOF Specialist applies the skills of process consulting to identify potential opportunities and execute project plans assigned by the EOF team throughout the organization. The EOF Specialist must drive consistency and efficiency in the execution of all project plans assigned.
The EOF Specialist's key role is to review existing processes and provide a summary of critical data to aide in the evaluation of those processes which will be used to encourage improvement activities to achieve business goals. The EOF Specialist's responsibility is to support the EOF Manager and the constructive changes in corporate and property operational finance areas.
The EOF Specialist's view must always be aware of the enterprise-wide implications of the changes. Understanding the characteristics of changing processes in property operational finance areas will assure that the overall value stream will realize the benefits of the improvements. The EOF Specialist must focus on the means of process improvement, as well as the results while enrolling the property operators to understand the improvement process.
The primary objective for the EOF Specialist is to support the initiatives of the Enterprise Operational Finance department and provide an evaluation of the consistency between all property operational finance areas across the brand.
Assist in achieving company-wide business goals
Assists in the development and ensures execution of process improvement
Assists in setting the priorities of process improvement
Maintains up-to-date project
Works with the property operational finance teams to plan and lead improvement projects
Works with property operational finance to involve executive management and stakeholders in the improvement process when necessary to eliminate barriers
Provides guidance and support to the property operational finance leaders
Provides guidance to sustain improvement changes
Communicates key lessons learned and best practices from company-wide operational finance process improvement activities
Stays abreast of key trends and technologies through research, networking, etc
Assists in analyzing & assessing technologies to determine fit relative to Caesars needs
Establishes, cultivates, and maintains key partnerships that are needed to drive programs and initiatives
Assists in the preparation of management reports that reflect the program's budget performance, utilization of resources and achievement of goals.
Understands Caesars business processes, systems platforms and infrastructure architecture.
Industry experience of 1+ years preferred, but not required GED or HS diploma required
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software
Ability to learn Lean system tools developed through experience in deploying and leading operational transformations is preferred
Basic operational finance knowledge (org structure, business functions, processes, procedures, objectives, goals, measures, metrics, etc.)
