Project Manager, Consumer Insights
To be successful in this role, you need to possess strong intellectual curiosity, be skilled in problem definition, and capable of conducting rigorous analyses to develop actionable recommendations. • Design and conduct exploratory user studies, including surveys, field studies, ethnographies, focus groups, and brand tracking studies
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop research plans and define and prioritize research questions
• Effectively communicate research findings, and make recommendations, across organization
• Manage outside research projects from inception to conclusion, including managing RFP processes, recommending appropriate methodologies, and managing vendor relationships to produce reports to meet desired information objectives
• Ability to manage multiple projects with focus on timelines and cost
• 5-10 years’ experience in research design (quantitative and qualitative), questionnaire development, data analysis and report writing
• Hands-on experience in writing surveys, programming, fielding online surveys and conducting focus group studies
• Experience with advanced statistical techniques and market research analytical tools including SPSS, Excel and other data manipulation tools
• Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on insights
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to drive projects working with cross-functional teams including marketing, brand, product development, hospitality
• Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data
• Precise attention to detail and project timeline management
• Sound strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate trends and turn insights into recommendations
• Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies
• Supplier side/consulting agency experience a huge plus
