Analyst-On Property Analytics
Industry leading analytics has always been a core competency of Caesars Entertainment. A qualified candidate will be an entry-level professional in financial planning and analysis, with a desire to learn about the gaming industry, finance, labor, revenue management, marketing, hotel and F&B operations in addition to other critical business areas. A candidate will be responsible for supporting property analytics leads in a cross-functional capacity. A successful Analyst in this position will be an individual who is capable of providing broad-based functional analysis, communicating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, developing strategic partnership with Analytics and Property leadership, and exhibiting a persistent curiosity to identify relevant trends across the business.
The On Property Analytics Analyst will be responsible for the following:
o Conducting ad-hoc analyses as necessary including, but not exclusive to, operations performance reviews, marketing and customer behavior analysis, competitive intelligence, financial modeling, forecasting and statistical analysis, budgeting and capital planning support, and other key business functions
o Ensuring that analyses are thoughtful, insightful, and professionally structured
o Helping property leaders get the most out of standard analytical tools & reports - serve as translator / interpreter to the local audience
o Developing and supporting production reports for departments across the enterprise
o Participating in and presenting operating reviews to the Property Senior Management Team
o Proactively researching business trends across functions and communicating findings to property leads and/or management
o Property analytics support – responsibilities to include but not exclusive to:
o Regular operations reviews and senior-level presentations
o Perform ad-hoc analysis and ROI analysis for all capital projects
o Annual budgeting, strategic planning, and regular reforecasting
o Taking the lead in properties' annual budget and strategic planning processes
o Bachelor's degree from a top-tier program in one of the following areas: Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Hotel Management, Business and Accounting
o Individual with critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability and a desire to understand a broad range of operations within the Casino industry
o Must be technically skilled and have experience using data analysis tools including MS Office products; must be able to quickly learn relevant industry database applications and software
o Ability to communicate complex ideas to co-workers and internal clients; strong written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to provide analysis requiring a quick turnaround in order to allow operators to react to changing dynamics rapidly
o Must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment, manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, regularly meet/exceed service level agreement requirements, and provide excellent internal customer service
