The Auditor will be assigned to assist in field engagements involving attest services including, audits, reviews and compilations. In addition, the auditor may be assigned to assist with business advisory services and other special client projects. In conducting audit services, the Auditor is required to perform auditing duties assigned, prepare working papers, document and evaluate client's internal control over financial accounting, effectively control assigned time on the engagement, adhere to firm policy and AICPA pronouncements including Rules of Professional Conduct, be familiar with current accounting principles and auditing techniques, acquire a working knowledge of the client's business and maintain a cordial but professional relationship with staff and client personnel.


  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university
  • Senior : 3 - 5 years of recent audit experience in public accounting
  • Supervisor: 5+ years of recent audit experience in public accounting
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA exam
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
  • Able to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication/interpersonal/analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience of audits in any of the following areas a plus:
    • Broker Dealers
    • Distribution
    • Service
    • Manufacturing
    • Healthcare
    • Construction
    • Not-for-Profit
    • Benefit Plan Audits
    • Federal Single Audits-Uniform Guidance


While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly sit, talk, listen, and respond. The employee frequently is required to walk and use fingers, tools, and/or various controls. The employee must occasionally stand and reach with arms and hands. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception. Occasionally, the employee will lift up to 25 pounds or more, such as, to lift files, papers and equipment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet with frequent interruptions. The employee continuously interacts with staff and/or clients. Travel may be necessary to various client or business sites to perform onsite review/audits, meet with clients and/or the delivery of work product. Additionally, occasional overtime is required throughout the year and may be in excess of 55 hours per week. Further policies may be put into effect during busy season, i.e., no vacation or non-emergency-related personal time away from the office.
