VP, Product Management

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an experienced VP, Product Management in our Journal Square, Jersey City, NJ office. The Product Management business is a key and critical function within the Firm, and in this position you will strengthen and drive the standard methodologies of this division. You will be responsible for setting standard procedures, and establishing and achieving Product Management growth aspirations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate and recommend changes that optimize Global Technology Operations (“GTO”) product portfolio
  • Ensure product strategies and operational activities are properly and sufficiently executed to achieve the intended role within GTO/BU portfolio
  • Ensure practices are in place to set and maintain a product road map(s)
  • Handle resolution of P&L and operating issues for cross BU product initiatives
  • Allocate GTO product investments
  • Secure funding for product development activities
  • Work with functional areas to develop and implement operating plan priorities and to achieve performance targets
  • Direct and lead NBI process and decision making
  • Ensure alignment with external market dynamics as they vary across different market and client segments
  • Develop metrics for tracking and assessing functional area performance
  • Work with marketing on brand positioning
  • Deploy product and pricing strategies
  • Price deals for clients and prospects
  • Ensure that this function evolves talent, commits to and works reciprocally with other functional areas
  • Maintain highly “matrixed” and federated structure of leadership and/or influence
  • Develop, deploy and adopt clear role definitions throughout GTO; monitor those performing these roles and gauge role evolution
  • Train and develop staff


  • 10+ years experience leading a product or product portfolio comprised of high-demand and high-cost items to client; open to experience outside of financial services
  • Technical experience in either an academic or corporate setting
  • Deep market-based intelligence that helps set and drive business priorities; prior experience in a strategy or account management role a plus
  • Strong business development and management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
