VP- Operations

Broadridge is growing. We are currently recruiting for a VP of Operations to report to senior leadership within Managed Services. You'll be responsible for various aspects of the Operational Risk Control team. Over the past few years Broadridge has enjoyed revenue growth across products and industries; with a renewed focus on a Wealth Management and Capital Market Solutions we are looking to accelerate that growth in a controlled and risk based manner.

What you will do:

You will play a significant role in crafting, influencing and designing strategies to identify, quantify, analyze, monitor and mitigate operational risk within the Managed Services Business unit.
You'll be a leader in a team where you will playing a leading role in extending the functional mandate of the team to provide a comprehensive risk profile of our MSO business unit, the respective functional areas and also at the client level.
Alongside your associates you will be accountable for determining action plans to address the root causes of operating risk which includes but is not limited to process reengineering, automation of manual tasks and action plan follow up and closure within the functional areas (settlements, asset servicing, client management, P&S, SLAB etc).
Given the complexity of the role you will need to be a strong developer of people and relationships and will also need exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to think and execute outside of the box as well as have the technical and strategic ability to collaborate and execute.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Required Master Degree or CPA preferred
Visionary, versatile, highly skilled on executive leadership path
Min 5 years of experience leading within a global and diverse team (min 2 years management exp)
Series 7/99 or other recognized registration and certifications
Financial Services background preferable in operations or technology; or CPA, with experience in Broker Dealer operations.
Strong analytical skills fact and number based-strategic and yet able to get to the details quickly.
Values and urges diverse opinions and balances decision-making timing.
Proven track record of using technology to improve operating risk and increased productivity.
Change management (orchestration and execution skills).
Understands challenges of multi-client/vendor business,
* Strategic and business planning skills while able to pay attention to detail when necessary
