VP, Blockchain Strategy

Broadridge is growing. We are seeking a Vice President of Blockchain Strategy to join our creative and dynamic team in New York, NY. As head of Broadridge's award-winning blockchain initiative, you'll be responsible for our expansion, and new product development in distributed ledger technology. You will oversee the continued success of our live blockchain pilots and drive our non-public pilots to production. You will handle the relationship with all our partners and investments, represent Broadridge in the media and at conferences, and work closely with our business leads, product managers, technology developers, and clients to build new products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will be the strategic direction and execution of go-to-market blockchain technology for Broadridge, and cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit company-wide
You will use your vast experience, network, and technical acumen to steward our existing blockchain pilots (here and here), to production-ready applications, grow our user network, and develop tangible new products for the industry
You will produce thought leadership, and mentor a team of dedicated technical and product talent
You will ensure consistent standards and governance for all blockchain solutions
You'll work across our peer and industry groups to develop blockchain networks and platform interoperability, and continue our positive relationships with our various client co-development partners
International Travel is required

Qualifications:

You possess a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and intimately understand the real problems our clients are trying to solve for
Prior experience leading product teams, Multi-platform engineering and the coordinating and building global teams across multiple simultaneous projects
You have a clear track record of creative thinking with demonstrable results
Significant experience in business case justification for creative products
You will communicate daily with senior management therefore will need impeccable presentation skills and media presence
Prior Client Services experience (direct sales experience a plus)
Practical blockchain development experience for multiple solutions and platforms (e.g., Ethereum and/or Quroum, Hyperledger, DAML, Corda, etc.)
Experience Implementing enterprise solutions on permissioned blockchains and working with cryptographic protocols
A Strong data analysis background. Experience working with quantitative data to inform product decisions
Additional experience in ML/AI/RPA, IoT, Distributed and Container storages and Cloud is preferred
