Technical Implementation Specialist

Broadridge is hiring a Technical Implementation Analyst! You will work on converting new clients onto the BIMS solutions platform, and have a significant impact on the client's organization, as well as their initial impression of the BIMS products. Responsibilities

You will work with Sales and account management to understand the scope of an engagement in order to correctly size the effort involved.
You'll also work with IT to have all environments setup and available to the project team.
Partner with the business analyst and the product manager to gather client requirements and identify possible product gaps. Assist product management and development in resolving any gaps.

Configure/Implement the client requirements in the BIMS solution platform (intake of data; distribution of data; derivations of data; validation rules for data, etc.).
Work with the project manager to provide timely and accurate project progress status and identify project risk and raise any issues that arise.
Facilitate solution knowledge transfer to the client where needed.
Participate in client engagements (like workshops to demonstrate client use cases) that will help the client get a deeper understanding of the product.
Contribute input to the structure of the overall project life cycle, as part of a continuous effort to improve our presses.
Responsible for the handover of work to the support organization, so that the client can be supported post go live by support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.

5-10 years of relevant experience
Proven experience with SS&C Advent Geneva: installation, configuration, application use. Proficient in creation of complex RSLs for extracting data and reporting.
Experience with data management processes and software, related to both security master and pricing data, including experience in working with vendor data like BBG, TR, IDC and MarkIT.
Well versed in the Microsoft technical stack: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
Extensive experience in the use of (power shell) Scripting, VBA, C# and SQL.
Understanding of financial instruments: life cycle of instruments; data flows associated with these instruments to support accounting, trading and risk systems.
Communicative strong both verbal and written (client communication; implementation documentation, diagrams, etc.).
Fluent in the use of Microsoft office products: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
Middleware experience (messaging) is a pro.
Experienced in working within a strict implementation methodology.
Can work independently (prioritize, schedule, plan, etc.) and is able to work structured in a team.
Willing and able to travel (internationally).
Willing to occasionally provide weekend assistance during periods of migrations, go lives, etc.
