Technical Business Analyst - Contract

Broadridge is growing. Our team is hiring for a Business Analyst to support our corporate logistics team in our Deer Park, Long Island office. In this highly visible role, you will use your widespread skill set in technical analyst, production analyst and project management. You will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, analyzing new automated solutions. Designing and implementing mailing solutions. This is a temporary, Contract role.

Responsibilities:

Create databases within the company's network and train employees on how to use and navigate
Capable of maintaining an extensive system efficiently. Research new techniques and updates within MS Access Programming that could be useful in making databases more efficient
Ability to learn new systems and languages and apply them to programming. You will write guides both technical and introductory for the use of MS Access within the corporate world
You have a strong ability to write code & integrate software programs.
You will work with outside vendors to identify solutions.
Provide technical support to management with respect to new technology initiatives and automation efforts.
You will create sites, built custom dashboard, managed permissions and content.
You'll be conducting formal and informal meetings with multiple groups to gathered requirements and provide solutions.
Financial analysis and reporting: you will research and analyze data from various sources, and analyse data to manage a business model.
Strong research and analytical abilities, attention to detail and the talent to effectively consolidate and report critical information.
Support the planning and management of various projects in accordance with strategic goals. This includes creating and maintaining project plans, providing status updates, and ensuring key objectives/milestones are achieved.
Develops and implements performance metrics for measurements.

Qualifications:

Strong technical skills. You should demonstrate the ability to work effectively with changing technologies and implement unique solutions.
Minimum of five years' related experience. Mostly Technical Skill experience is required.
Advance knowledge and experience of Microsoft Access (including tables, forms, report design, SQL scripting and VBA programming) and Microsoft Excel.
Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as MS Access programming language and data
In-depth knowledge of Visual Basic and other programming languages
Strong interpersonal skills. Should be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven organizational skills. Should be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities at a time.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and concisely, demonstrate high level of personal accountability, lead collaboratively, and apply critical thinking and sound judgment when faced with unstructured situations
Excellent writing skills needed to communicate complex concepts in simplified terms
Technical and mechanical skills needed to work with computers and networks
