Sr. Account Executive Middle Markets (Buyside)
We are looking for a high energy, driven sales professional whose ability to understand and develop client and internal relationships will contribute directly to our growth objectives. You will be part of a highly collaborative team in delivering these solutions that includes Sales, Product Specialists, Sales Engineers, and Service teams. Our team is comprised of hard working and ambitious self-starters focused on direct sales and building our brand in the buy-side community. Through organic and acquisitive growth you will continue to have new solutions and technologies to learn about and bring to market. Your ability to build strong relationships across divisions and learn quickly is key.
As a key member of the Broadridge Asset Management Solutions Middle Market Buy Side sales team, you'll be responsible for prospecting, generating new sales leads and growth through referrals, cold-calling and market research with a C-Suite and Tier 1 North American client base within an assigned geography.
Will be responsible for selling technology solutions to buy side institutional clients such as Asset Managers, RIA's, Mutual Funds and Investment Managers.
Represent Broadridge at industry functions and Conferences.
Monitor trends and competition while ensuring client satisfaction.
Prospect to build new relationships to identify new business opportunities within existing as well as non-existing clients.
Independently oversee and complete all aspects of the sales process, from pre-qualification to completion.
Coordinate activities across Broadridge to ensure the successful and timely implementation of products and services. Be accountable for and take ownership of all objectives, deliverables and commitments to these clients.
Maintain a constant awareness of current and planned developments in the buy-side marketplace as well as of the Broadridge product suite designed to help clients in that marketplace.
Manage internal resources to provide the necessary expertise and support during the sales process including legal, finance, product specialists, and senior management.
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in financial services b-to-b sales required, with extensive buy side knowledge
Track record of over-achieving sales quota with large firms with a global presence
Previous training in and experience with a sales methodology
Excellent C-level oral, written, and presentation skills
Strong technical foundation; ability to use CRM, Office, social tools, etc...
Willing to travel frequently to clients and prospects
