Senior Sales Operations Analyst

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Analyst to work in our New York City office. In this position you will report to the Vice President of Sales Operations & Administration. You will be responsible for leading sales operational processes and driving the visibility and analysis of key sales performance, productivity and pipeline metrics across the global sales organization. You will implement automated sales performance reporting, including weekly, monthly and quarterly Closed Sales Reporting, Forecasting and Pipeline reporting. You will assist with sales commission administration where necessary, including handling and updating Excel models. You will also assist in management of ad-hoc sales operations projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales operations planning and analytical support for the Bank Broker Dealer and Customer Communication selling segments
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis and modelling to predict, measure and interpret business trends and inform key decision makers
  • Define concrete business requirements for global sales and business processes; partner with the CRM team to implement a scalable and efficient CRM strategy and integrate third-party sales reporting and automation tools
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support various sales operational functions; work with Segment Sales Leaders, CRM Analysts, Financial Partners and Sales Executives to drive the implementation of strategic projects as well as core operational processes

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, including demonstrated success improving sales operations processes, preferably in the finance and/or tech industries
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills
  • Ability to synthesize analysis into recommendations that result in executable solutions
  • Deep understanding of field sales — management, teams, structure and go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent oral/written communications and partnership skills to promote cross-functional consensus
  • Self-directed, self-starter who can multi-task and problem solve to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent data management skills to review, interpret, reconcile and report on large amounts of data
  • Full working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Excel, specifically to build detailed models using macros and pivot tables
  • SalesForce.com and other automation tools
  • MS PowerPoint, specifically to translate data into digestible formats for presentations to sales management
  • Ability to operate in a team environment with cross-functional collaboration among Finance, HR and other internal Broadridge business partners
