Senior Product Specialist

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist in our Journal Square, Jersey City, NJ office. In this position you will be responsible for support activities related to assigned products, and expected to thoroughly understand products and provide excellent client service. You will provide client support for assigned products, as well as gather knowledge of Broadridge products, services, platforms, and the brokerage industry. You will assist in troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving causes of various Broadridge problems, as well as track service issues to resolution and advance when necessary. You will effectively utilize support tools and applications to resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner. You will also mentor junior level associates, and supervise and lead special projects

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver statuses and notifications to clients and management, relative to issues impacting service interruptions
  • Assist in planning for and coordinating application focus group meetings
  • Participate in providing internal and client application training as required
  • Process all client requests on a timely basis; log all client events into the Remedy System and update all open items within 24 hours
  • Provide off hours/weekend coverage as needed and be available 24×7 in case of emergency situations
  • Assist in entering new requests for estimation by development
  • Adhere to all product standard operating procedures; fully utilize the tools within Broadridge (i.e., TSO, Remedy, TPA, SSR system, etc.)
  • Assist in writing and executing test plans for simple improvements, and coordinate with Quality Assurance
  • Become familiar with Broadridge organization so that you can easily refer problems to the appropriate support groups within the organization
  • Assist in performing routine support to client application questions
  • Participate in client visits/audits as required
  • Support client conversions including B1 reviews, mock support and training
  • Participate in bi-weekly Change Matrix Management meetings and in monitoring development change matrix
  • Participate in special projects and inter-departmental assignments
  • Provide support for sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, presentations, demos and webinars

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ operational experience in a financial services environment, with an understanding of multiple asset classes, regulatory policies, and risk and compliance processes
  • People management experience preferred, or experienced manager of high-impact products/processes
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of industry data vendors and Security Master products
  • Excellent leadership and client relationship skills
  • Ability to evangelize products to sales channel, customers and partners; strong presentation skills
  • Experience crafting marketing tools (whitepapers, datasheets, return-on-investment calculators, etc.)
  • Agile with a solutions-oriented mindset
