Senior Accounting Analyst
Broadridge is growing. We are actively recruiting for a Sr Accounting Analyst to join our Controller's team in Newark. In this role, you will be responsible for all accounting aspects of Compensation and Benefits, including related Process, Policies, Procedures, Systems, Compliance, Controls and Reporting. You will be a key member of the Shared Services Group reporting to a Finance Director within the Corporate Controllers organization. You will partner with human resources, finance and business units to improve all aspects of the financial reporting process.
Functional responsibilities include, ensuring all Payroll and Bonus elements are accounted for properly, all related reconciliations are completed, and all outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner. Supporting compilation of annual US fringe budget and quarterly forecasts. This role also requires strong business partnering skills, project management and process improvement experience. The successful candidate, you will be a collaborative, ambitious and analytical individual with strong background in Compensation and Benefits accounting management. Lead the overall monthly book close process including journal entry approval.

Review and approve all payroll account reconciliations
Lead accounting of all deferred compensation plans
Deferred Management Bonus Plan
Deferred Director's Compensation Plan
Non-qualified retirement plans
Liaison with Payroll department to resolve all reconciling items
Support all US fringe accounting, planning and forecast including all monthly allocations
Lead global bonus accrual and payout processes. Compile executive level analysis.
Other responsibilities - Projects/ Process improvements (25%)
Deliver key projects focused on process standardization and automation
Manage/Execute system related projects and initiatives
Ensure proper documentation of policies, SOP's and test plans
You should be action oriented with proven supervisory experience in compensation and benefits or other relevant supervisory roles. Qualifications include:
2 to 3 years of experience including use of Oracle in an ADP outsourced payroll environment.
B.S. Accounting required
Strong business partnering and customer focus
Excellent documentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications (strong Excel data analysis skills and PowerPoint)
Proficient with Oracle GL and TM1 experience preferred
