Reporting Insight Services Analyst

Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Business Analyst to work at our Pittsburgh, PA office.

As a Business Analyst you will support clients utilizing Access Data's report solutions across the suite of products. Responsibilities include running, reviewing, and distributing reports to clients as well as pro-active review of client data to identify issues. Additionally, research inquiries from clients and working to identify and resolve data issues will be included. Successful individuals will be able to research inquiries, manage a large number recurring tasks and ensure they are consistently completed accurately.   • Generate and distribute reports as necessary;
  • Reconcile and review data for accuracy;
  • Make adjustments to standard SQL as necessary to generate reports for clients using data in Greenplum and/or Oracle;
  • Ensure clients receive reports via secure email or using Access Data portal delivery options;
  • Work with clients to address questions regarding data;
  • Analyze underlying data for potential missing data;
  • Identify and filter double-counted assets resulting from omnibus account relationships;
  • Assist clients it understanding the data and integrating the reports into their environment;
  • Pro-actively analyze shareholder account level data in order to identify new omnibus accounts and other sources of potential data issues

Day-to-day activities:

  • Day to day activities will vary by client depending on client inquires;
  • Work with other teams within Broadridge to understand underlying data improve accuracy of report accuracy;
  • Track execution of recurring tasks as well as client inquires;
  • Escalate identified issues and work with other teams to resolve;
  • Utilize various software tools, techniques, and processes to investigate and resolve problems;
  • Clearly and completely document processes and problem resolutions;
  • Contribute to and maintain the company knowledge base with relevant information and approaches (recommendations, reports, etc);and
  • Work to maintain a current working knowledge of the software products.

REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:

  • Data Research or Data Analysis experience;
  • SQL experience; and
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry knowledge (ETF, Mutual Funds, distribution, manufacturing side of investing);
  • Greenplum or Oracle
