Product Owner, Oracle ERP

Broadridge is growing. We are actively seeking a Domain Expert for Oracle ERP. In this role, you will engage internal customers at management and technical levels to develop/define/refine the product strategy, influence product direction and execute agreed upon strategy on time and within budget.

As the ERP Product Manager, you will be accountable for driving successful delivery of software enhancements, upgrades and new software/solutions as required and making recommendations on extending software solutions for our internal customers. You will also be responsible for the day to day operations of the product, and ensure the ERP system is kept up and running meeting internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will also ensure that the Product is kept modern and resilient (hardware platform, software platform, DR/BCP strategy, etc.).

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for Governance and processes to maximize the use of standard out of the box functionality and existing features
Drive vision & strategy, roadmap and Product lifecycle
Act as a forward thinker capable of thinking out of the box to solve business problems
Provide business application architecture review, design & development for Product
Balance multiple priorities for projects with a limited set of resources
Lead the functional business, day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Oracle ERP Financials platform and all its modules (GL, FA, Cash Management, Payables, Receivables, Expenses)
Lead requirements gathering as requested by business users, prioritize and track progress, and support design of solutions
Lead development and roll-out of training as needed
Be responsible for data governance of key data dimensions and hierarchies within oracle in close collaboration with the technical team
Design development of enhancements requested by the business and conduct testing (e.g., System, Integration, and support User Acceptance Testing)
Support Technical Team with functional input during development of enhancements
Support the business with the maintenance of COA values and hierarches
Support the business with the resolution of user issues
Coordinate with Oracle on Service / Enhancement Requests as needed
Support the testing of monthly patches and bi-annual upgrades from Oracle; coordinate regression testing efforts
Support administration of security and entitlements
Provide overall change management for the Oracle ERP Cloud platform

Technical Expertise:

Experience of working with vendors such as Salesforce, Workday and IBM
Deeper understanding of reference data and master data management
Expertise with Oracle ERP, preferably Oracle Cloud but at least with Oracle EBS R12
Relevant work experience in system development and support
Experience with implementing Oracle EBS in different capacities
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle process (SDLC)
Knowledge of Oracle products, specifically Oracle EBS ERP version 12+ and underlying database(s)
Extensive knowledge of operations processes including incident, problem and change management
Project management experience is a plus
Should be able to use a pace layering approach to increase the return on investment in the existing ERP implementation

Business Analysis:

Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends
Identifies the customer's business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the Product
Solid understanding of the business with focus on Finance / Accounting and exposure to Procure-to-Pay business processes
Ability to interact with Business internal partners and tackle business problems spanning across functions
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with other Broadridge businesses
Extremely high degree of customer focus and responsiveness is a requirement
