Operations Associate - Contract
Broadridge is growing. We are hiring for an Operations Associate to join our Cash Management team. At Broadridge within out Matrix Division, we optimize all aspects of trust and custody services for retirement plans and facilitate management with real-time information on cash disbursements, holdings and transactions. In this position, you will process manual and automated requests from Third Party Administrators/Clients, and you will respond to internal customer calls and email. You will provide "premier" customer service, and implement established guidelines, procedures, and Service Level Agreements. You'll provide same day cash processing of contribution and distribution requests from 401(K) participants via checks, ACH, and Fed wire transactions.
This is a temporary, contract role.
You will accurately process daily requests and research items on a timely basis.
You'll enter and/or release wires in the wire system.
You will focus on quality, by consistently double-checking any transactions that are processed by the team.
You'll work on the closing process which includes balancing transactions at the end of the day.
Train new employees and coordinate cross training for team members.
Other duties as needed
High School diploma or equivalent education with advanced business/technical school or college training preferred, and/or a minimum of two to three (2-3) years applicable equivalent experience
Strong work ethic, with a professional appearance and presentation
Knowledge of basic business processes and computer applications (Trust systems, Microsoft Excel and Word).
Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written) and customer service skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize work to meet daily workloads and deadlines.
