We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and professional Implementation Consultant, with a drive to work on challenging projects for some of the biggest financial clients within the global markets. The work will be intriguing and fast-paced, but you'll still be part of a relaxed and friendly working environment.

Due to the size and nature of the organization, the Implementation Consultant's role is multi-faceted.

The Implementation Consultant will work on client projects at various stages during the project life and may have to spend time working in a support and fix role, particularly following a deployment of software to a client. Additionally the Implementation Consultant will be involved in the deployment and installation of the SFCMB system (Broadridge formerly 4sight System) system

The Implementation Consultant must be self-motivated and able to work individually on a project as well as within a team.

The Implementation Consultant must be willing to embrace a number of programming environments ranging from legacy tools such as PowerBuilder to more recent tools such as .Net. The Implementation Consultant should also be articulate and willing to communicate directly with end-users, if required.

The Implementation Consultant should be working towards becoming a subject matter expert in a number of system, technology and business matters.

Academic/Technical Qualifications required:-

Degree level/equivalent qualification, preferably IT related; or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Knowledge and Experience required:-

Knowledge of, or experience in the 'Agile' development methodology

Experience of working in a team on IT projects.

Experience of working with financial markets applications, ideally with exposure to both real-time and also database transaction processing applications.

Must be adept in the use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Internet and email

Competent in PowerBuilder development and have good understanding of the .Net development, language

Ideally competent in Java, .Net development, SQL
