Entry-Level Firmware Engineer
Summary: Firmware Engineers perform embedded systems programming for moderately complex electromechanical systems. They design software for factory automation using appropriate operating systems, languages, and programmable logic environments under the direction of senior staff. Firmware Engineers participate in the establishment of software design guidelines and practices. They may lead or assist technicians in the troubleshooting of software prototype solutions.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering; 0-2 years programming experience in college or in a professional environment.
