Director, Software Product Management, Long-Only Asset Management
Broadridge is growing. We are seeking a Director, Product Management to join our team in our Park Ave, NYC office. You will need a deep understanding of the traditional asset management market both from an Investment Product perspective and a Technology perspective in order to execute the vision/strategy for each of the current and future products and services within the product portfolio. You will also assist with Pre-Sales and Sales related responsibilities. The Broadridge suite of software products provides asset/wealth managers, banks, brokerages, hedge funds and hedge fund administrators with a combination of front, middle and back office applications designed to provide a deep functional capabilities on a fully managed and hosted environment.

You will participate in the definition and development of the Long Only software product strategy in consultation with the Global Head of Product Strategy to ensure compliance with business goals and objectives
Define feature and functional improvements across front, middle and back office products; write business specifications, liaise with existing Product Managers and Development to ensure work is balanced across market segments
You will act as the Long Only Asset Management product resource within Broadridge and assist Sales by making prospect and industry contacts, helping with developing pipeline opportunities, attending industry events and closing sales
Act in a Pre-Sales capacity where required by coordinating Sales meetings and preparing and conducting product demonstrations as needed
Aid with the development of the Product Pricing matrix based on known and quantifiable costs, target margin and competitive environment
Internal SME and contact point for other Broadridge business units
Fulfill Product Management responsibilities in the definition of new software features and product direction. Write necessary business requirements and plans
You will provide mentorship and direction to the Development team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the solutions needed to maintain achievement of strategic goals. You will be familiar with scrum and agile development techniques.
Work with Senior Management and other required BR staff to coordinate software product demonstrations and sales meetings
You will work with the Senior Management team to provide updates on our Strategy and discuss/plan investments required into the product to achieve agreed goals
Liaise with larger BR Sales organization to assist with education, training and implementation of the Sales Strategy
Understand and ensure clarity of competitive landscape for similarly positioned products
You will assist in the creation of a 2 year rolling business plan for the Long Only Asset Management solutions
6-10 years of extensive financial market experience with an Asset Management focus
B.A/B.S Degree required
Strong business Product Management, Strategy, Pricing and Planning skills
Extensive experience with traditional Long Only Asset Management software and solutions including OMS and Portfolio Management
Broad knowledge of equity and fixed income markets
Solid understanding of the asset management ecosystem
Ability to manage and motivate assigned staff and virtual teams in a matrix organization to achieve the strategic goals
Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Capable of working in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Willingness and ability to travel (25%)
