The Account Executive position will provide the qualified individual with the opportunity to become the go to person for public companies within the territory for all issuer products and services. The individual will develop relationships with C-Suite executives at large and small public companies to present our solutions and solve problems. Recurring sales opportunities along with ever increasing products and services provides a long runway of opportunity to sell and earn commission dollars.

Work Modes: Broadridge classifies its jobs in three work modes: On-site, Hybrid, and Off-site. This is a hybrid role that will be assigned to a physical Broadridge location or coworking space. You will regularly travel to this location for collaboration meetings, trainings, or as the need arises.
Primary responsibilities include:

  • Cold call into defined public companies within assigned account base and introduce the Broadridge suite of services
  • Determine the right buying contact(s) for each service and make contact via phone or email to present our solutions. In person appointments used when appropriate and safe in COVID environment
  • Effectively and persuasively present our solutions to gain a sales commitment
  • Cross sell additional products and services while continuing to grow the revenue spend at each account
  • Negotiate and execute contracts for desired services
  • Renew contracts upon expiration while expanding services and growing additional services and revenue
  • Support the client to answer inquiries on services and billing as well as market events and regulatory changes
  • Interact and collaborate with internal associates in client service, billing, pricing, and legal
  • Be accountable to and work towards an annual sales goal along with individual product goals
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong and polished presentation skills, professional approach, and effective representation of Broadridge and its capabilities
  • Prior proven track record of successful sales growth
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure environment
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, proxy process, transfer agency, and/or financial print a plus
  • Prior experience in a client facing role
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships, in and out of the office
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and interact with technical and production personnel
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and prospects
  • Ability to multi-task; strong time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects at a time
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong ability to cold call and generate appointments/meetings with prospects
  • Strong ability to close sales and upsell additional services
  • Salary Range: $85-95k
