Account Director

Primary responsibilities are to focus on the growth of the account. Daily interactions with the client will vary based on client requests and scheduled deliverables as well as special projects and new releases, so it is imperative that the Account Director is able to balance and prioritize requests and initiatives.

Description:

You will be responsible for managing (multiple) accounts utilizing the Broadridge Advisor Solutions (BAS) services. This role will report directly to the Manager of the Account Directors. This role will interact directly with your Product Sales partner on your account(s), Project Managers, Software Engineers, Data Services, BSA's, Product Managers, Senior Leaders as well as our clients. You will be responsible for guiding the client's annual roadmap, translating client initiatives into high level business requirements and stewarding these requirements into the business intake process while managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction for both the client and BR. You will facilitate and provide where able, internal and external support, run scheduled and ad hoc reports to drive client insights and develop business intelligence. This individual will support clients and their escalations, coordinate schedules, as well as identify and manage the up-selling and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue. This is a quota carrying position and the fundamental goals are client satisfaction resulting in growth of both the client's business as well as ours.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The cornerstone responsibilities for the Account Director role are: Client Strategy, Growth and Risk Mitigation, Account Management and Client Triage. Within these job objectives, we will ask the AD to do the following:

Communicate and facilitate tasks internally based on client need and set priorities accordingly
Troubleshoot client issues before sending to internal resources to minimize resolution time and increase internal team bandwidth
Proactively work with clients on current, new, and future projects to ensure proper delivery of service while acting as a consultant of their marketing needs
Manage internal tasks and work with internal resources as well as our valued business partners to deliver client solutions. Negotiate and leverage business relationships.
Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual billing based on the Statement of Work and client requests
Worki directly with outside print, data and email vendors
Ability to manage products and programs provided to BAS by outside vendors
Work with clients on email and web-based marketing programs
Foster high level relationships to ensure account stability
Monitor client profitability
Have a complete understanding of what is driving client movement (KPIs, industry pressure, roadmap etc.)

Skills Required:

A strong business acumen and ability to understand how our client's business works
Effective communication skills both internally and to the client.
The ability to organize and prioritize numerous issues, define a go forward strategy and communicate it to all parties effectively
Ability to develop senior level relationships, in and out of the office
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
Ability to lead internal and external meetings, set agendas, build consensus and execute the plan with a cross functional team
Ability to grasp technical concepts and interact with technical and production personnel
Strong presentation and customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines
Strong MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

A FINTECH background
A working knowledge and understanding of "Big Data", AI / Segmentation strategies, Omni channel client communications, client / prospect response management services, client optimization strategies / experience and working knowledge of Business Intelligence services in the marketplace.
Understanding of direct marketing, print and production concepts
Knowledge of relational database concepts
Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, Social, BI, AI.
Experience with campaign management tools
Knowledge of models (including modeling techniques, applications and results)
Experience working with financial or insurance clients
Knowledge of demographic and lifestyle data5+ years of experience as an Account/Project Manager within the Marketing/Financial Services Industry.
Client side experience a plus
