Position Summary
The Maintenance Engineering Technician position at the LaVergne plant is a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic (PLC). This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineering Technician (MET) position may include the following:
- Respond to trouble calls
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Perform lubrication work
- Perform troubleshooting using a PLC
Teammates are required to work on a continuous operations schedule consisting of 12 hour shifts. A sample schedule is provided below:

Qualifications
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment {position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electronic (PLC), and electrical}.

3+ years of high-tech maintenance related military experience
Or...
Completed apprenticeship program and 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
Or...
Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics, or related field and 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
