Contribute the assessment of network providers', network architectures, topologies and configuration databases for own area of responsibility, ensuring that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures, aligned within Bridgestone Policies and security frameworks.

  • Specify design parameters for network connectivity, capacity, speed, interfacing, security and access, in line with business requirements avoiding in proactive mode any disruptions or security gaps. i.e. Replacing current LA WAN network technology from MPLS to SDWAN. Design and implement it with ensuring the needed connections with other regions.
  • Review and verify network designs against non-functional requirements, including validation and error correction procedures, access, security and audit controls described by BSAM and BSLA. Assesses network-related risks and specifies recovery routines and contingency procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of recovery routines and contingency procedures. Contributes to alternative network architectures, networking topologies and design options.
  • Suggest multiple design views to address the different stakeholders' concerns and to handle both functional and non-functional requirements. Always under Bridgestone policies and alignment with approved frameworks.
  • Prepare tailored technical Guides on new technologies in order to instruct and align Networks Specialists and end users regarding the appropiate use of tools and Telecomm resources on the tools managed by the Networking BSAM team. Provide documentation of approved changes made and equipment configurations in order to facilitate the Systems audit processes and support.
  • Coordinate with the service providers together (as needed) all changes, improvements and alternative solutions on the links that intercommunicate the BSLA location and the same with BSAM, in order to maintain acceptable performance in communications and provide the end user with a better experience. Be able to execute a bidding processes with network providers to find the best vendor for LA or countries individually searching for performance improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain the network support process and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Drafts and maintains procedures and documentation for network support and operation. Active participation at root cause analysis and documentation of solutions or workarounds applied for Incident resolution.
  • Ensure network configurations are applied to meet operational requirements in line with agreed procedures. validating documentation of changes to be made in weekly CAB meetings with the rest of the IT teams and personnel, in order to ensure that the audit guidelines are followed correctly and confirm that all the changes presented are controlled and do not affect other service areas . Makes a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems.
  • Use network management software and tools to investigate and diagnose network problems, collect performance statistics and create reports. Ensure internal customer satisfaction with network performance executing annual surveys and provide action plans for improvement.
  • Fully familiar with recognised industry bodies of knowledge both generic and specific, and knowledge of the business, suppliers, partners, competitors and clients. Develop a wider breadth of knowledge across the industry or business. Applies knowledge to help to define the standards which others will apply.


  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Telecomm Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related.
  • Desirable: Project Management Certification or related.
  • English (B2 o C1)

  • Management of support teams minimum 4 years.
  • Experience in systems and Telecomm administration.
  • Work experience with large multinational companies with Project management experience.
