This position works with retail merchants and consumers using department protocol to determine if the application for credit is approved or denied.
This person is responsible for working in a cross-functional environment. This representative provides account information to retail merchants and consumers, applies authorization policy and procedures to make point of sale credit decisions, and evaluates application information to an on-line system to approve or deny an application for credit. Reviews and analyzes pended application data and credit bureau information to make sound credit decisions. Retains knowledge related to bank compliance. Performs various account maintenance.
This position is a 2nd shift role and may include weekends and holidays.*
High school diploma.
This individual is required to have strong investigative skills that enable the ability to make an analysis and draw conclusions.
Self-directed, motivated, and passionate about providing an excellent customer experience.
Excellent communications skills.
Four years of retail credit experience required. One year credit evaluation experience.
Comprehension and familiarity with Credit Bureau Reporting.
Good communication skills.
Strong knowledge of all authorization policy and procedures is preferred.
